Jagua Black Temporary Tattoos
"Jagua" is an edible tropical fruit found in the Amazon. The 100% natural dye is extracted from the unripe fruit and has a long history of use for body art by the indigenous people of Central and South America.
Our Jagua kit is safe, does not contain PPD or any toxic chemicals. Tattoos last 10-14 days.
This is not a henna product and is not considered "Black Henna."
Henna Body Art
The art of adorning the body with Henna and temporary dyes has been practiced on every continent for thousands of years.
Practiced for five thousand years throughout India, Africa and the Middle East, the act of painting the body with the dye made from the crushed leaves of the henna plant, has carried with it deep tradition and ceremony. The desire for good fortune, happy results and joy in life were common wishes made during the henna tattooing ceremony.
Henna has been used for marriage ceremonies, rite of passage ceremonies for both boys and girls, when children are born and for so many other markers in the lives of the people who've practiced it for so many years.
The practice of henna art has come to the west and is enjoyed by millions of people in the US. It's a wonderful alternative if you don't wish to have a permanent tattoo but still enjoy adorning your body.
Each Henna Kit comes with a set of designs, also called transfers as they aren't stencils, the henna powder, eucalyptus oil and instructions for application.
